Re: 2024-25 Schedule
First game, sort of, of the year is complete. The exhibition against Xavier. Hard to know what things will be like since 11 players went out there and you have to be pretty sure that Coach Grant won't go that deep later this year. The Flyers seemed to lack 3-pt shooting ability, but they did have some good defensive hustle. Young guys were rusty, as expected, but the next exhibition and the first real game of the year will be deciding factors. It will show us who might red-shirt this year, and who may be riding the pine.
For instance, I was surprised by the lack of time for Isaac Jack. Is that because Coach knows what he has in him, and will be a part of the rotation, or is it just not as good as the other players (Key, L'Etang, Conner). L'Etang seemed "gangly", but his wingspan helped. Last years guys seemed the same. (Smith, Bennett, Santos and Cheeks). Alexander looked decent, Mousa was the rusty one, Simon and Conner looked nice.
So, let's see how the Ashland game goes.
